SoCal, As It Was

Depending where it is, it still one of the most desirable and expensive places to live. Makes San Fran look like a poor relative

I would love to own a vacation place where my in laws live but not going to happen in my lifetime

There are good people there like everywhere...no broad strokes for me.

There is a lot of bad but there is also a lot of not bad

Lived there for almost 14 years. My wife lived there for her entire life other than college. I made some lifelong friends but we ended up leaving. My wife's decision who grew up in SoCal and said "this isn't the place where I want to raise kids".

40 years ago SoCal would have been the place to be...

Nik H, I couldn't agree more. There are good people up and down the state. I don't like the politics at the state level and many local levels there, but I'm not judging the state as a whole because of that. Sure, there are some areas i don't care to go, including San Francisco & Oakland. I wouldn't want to live in the state, but my family enjoys visiting the San Diego area. I also like some of the smaller communities in the northern part of the state.

The scale of economic diversity in CA is crazy.

There are incredibly poor parts of LA....Oakland....East Palo Alto.....San Jose....areas of cultural diversity! LOL

There are also areas like Hemet, Modesto, etc. Fucking white trash meth areas....Did I say white trash???

There are areas like SoCal beach communities...Newport Beach, CDM, etc....fuck me money...I have never seen that many people have FUCK ME money anywhere including the Bay Area where I lived for 4 years. Beachfront houses on top of each other with docks in Lido or Cameo Shores or Emerald Bay for 30+million.

There is no other place in the US like SoCal in terms of wealth aggregation...I wouldn't live there but I love visiting and partying with my friends there..think that good people are there...hint

I went shooting on a public range in Angeles Crest this past week. Steel to 600 yards...nice facility..lots of like minded people even though it was in CA....

Don't believe the shit that is pedaled...

Our side needs to actually unify across all States if we have any hope of changing this country to align with what the Constitution says....we need to get with it...truly sad

Next time to roll to Angeles Range Complex, shoot me a PM. I'm always down for smacking steel up there.

Ronald Reagans amnesty ruined California, I lived there as he was elected president, every time I go back my blood boils, it was the Repubs that lost California

Right now they have teamed up with the globalists to "lose" America.

Muther Fuckers all, I look forward to the next triggering event., its gonna be a shit show when my kind points to the actual cause and culprits and holds them accountable.

You are right...it is 600 yards now that I look at my databook. I corrected the original post I made.

I was there on Friday July 5...got there about 10:30 and left at 1 PM....that is HILARIOUS!!!

I was on G1 or so, from 9:15-11:45, and I think the only one with an AI. Lots of AR's that day and a sprinkling of bolts. I recognized that red target in your pic. I was 2 cement benches away from him. :)

I shot at ASR for years and years. It was roughly 50 miles from the house. Went there between desert outings. Very happy to have left the state!
