Black guy tells white guy he needs his truck. White guy tries to drive away. Black guy dumps mag into white guy. Black guy admits to doing exactly this. Jury finds black guy not guilty because...?

If ever there was a reason for a judge to set aside a jury's verdict is this it. My takeaway from this is shoot first and worry about the repercussions later, because either way I'm fucked.

Once the communists consolidate power and no longer need an idiot entitled criminal class to terrorize their opponents, things will change very rapidly.

Hi,

As has been mentioned.....lawyers!!!

The Justice System needs to be reset from all the ridiculous "case" laws that govern it and get back to morals derived from the Constitution.

Sincerely,
Theis
It's coming, look how far how fast NYNY has fallen.

Look how fast we have fallen since January

Let me get this straight......His lawyer is saying he didn't have any intent on killing him when he "unloaded all eight 9mm rounds into him" and the jury went along with that......Hmmm

In my world when you dump eight rounds of 9mm into someone you not only tried to kill them, but you tried 1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1=8 times.

Id be interested to know the jury's racial makeup.

Well it’s close to SAV. Hell I drove through there a lot. It’s little more than a fork in the road. Heck. I got pulled over there for speeding once. Got off warning.

I guess Hilton head is in different county. Also, SC isn’t friendly to concealed carry from other states. Not that it matters here.

What 9mm only holds 8 rounds? Was he using some old ass German or Russian gun from like WW1?

Anyways, anytime a jury's deliberation is as fast as 2 hours or less, the verdict is gonna be not guilty. My guess is the killer's defense was that when the truck owner tried to speed away, the killer felt his life was threatened by the moving truck and he felt justified to shoot. It's bullshit anyway you look at it. 🙄

I got $20 that says this guy will be dead in some sort of "neighborhood" shooting in a few months. Then the rest of the story will be told.

Yep.

Enjoy your blue hair, alternative life style, expectation that you can fuck goats and be accepted now while you can.

Day one of commie rule everyone gets a Mao suit, shaved head, and told if they step out of line its a bullet to the nape of the neck and organ harvesting for you.

This is why they invented necklacing... and the Mozambique drill.

Sirhr

Thing is we are now the intended targets and by "we" to some extent that is based on color but there will be a lot of Patriotic Asians, hispanics, blacks, you name it right there with us, you know my favorite people - Red, White and Blue folks.

The race BS is a communist weapon not reality among the thinking class.

Ignorant will continue to be ignorant.

Stand by for child soldiers.

Its coming.

We are lucky that we have innocent until proven guilty system and that even no matter how heinous a crime the accused is given vigorous defense.

Appreciating this more as I currently operate under the assumption that if accused it is encumbent on me to prove my innocence....the accuser will be taken at full face value.

F. Lee Bailey just died.

Heard a story he defended a heinous mob hit man. The hit man admitted to awful crimes as a co-operating witness and Bailey basically ensured no jail time but cushy witness protection.

Later his client was gunned down and Bailey made a comment somewhat to the point he was no longer able to defend his client and society is the better for it.

At least he recognized he defended the indefensible but for a free country some ugliness is to be expected.

Sucky part about this case is I think current events, the racism drum beat, rather than slick scheistering is more in play.

Lady Justice has her blindfold lifted and her scale pan is accounting for race, not facts/law.

Hi,

His attorney fought that the DEFINITION of MURDER did not encompass his actions..........

SAME thing Rittenhouse new lawyer is going to be doing.

Fight the DEFINITION and its' requirements..... as it removes emotions of the actions.

Sincerely,
Theis
Got it. But what did I miss here? If this isn't murder, what is?

Even if the old man threw a jab before fleeing, he was still fleeing as he was shot. Is this not murder or manslaughter at the least?

I'm a black and white type of guy (poor application of the term, but you know what I mean.) Consistent application of the laws may even matter more to me than the laws themselves. Kyle shot people (at least one of which was armed) that were chasing after him and that had already assaulted him. This guy shot a 77 year old who was attempting to flee, whether he was trying to jack his car or not. Rittenhouse is still making national news and fighting for his freedom whereas this guy is off scott free and I have to learn about this incident on this forum.

To rub salt in the wound, if I question the integrity of our legal system or critique selective media coverage as a result of nonsense like this I get "canceled" or labeled as a goddamn white supremacist.

How in the sweet fuck did we get to this point? We can debate the legal intricacies of these cases until the cows come home, but no matter how you slice it, this is very obviously horseshit and indicative of a colossal problem in our country.

There is a culture crisis in this country. It's not something the appeared overnight, but things have definitely accelerated as of late. There's a huge list of problems such as caving to special interests, allowing the government to replace the parent in the home, incentivizing women to have as many kids as possible and not get married, promoting censorship so the weak don't have to be "offended"...I could easily list a hundred things in the next 30 minutes.

The biggest problem in my eyes, though, and the root of a lot of issues, is that it has now become acceptable to take pride in (and judge people for) things they have absolutely no control of. Race, of course, is at the top of the list of things people are proud of that they did nothing to earn other than being born. Unfortunately, that mindset is not limited to just the liberals either: that same kind of thinking is not even a rare occurrence among members of this board. For instance, start a thread saying that you're looking to move to Texas and you will have people chime in that if you're not "native" that you need to stay out; it doesn't matter if you're a law-abiding, productive member of society that would be much more likely to adopt and fit in to their culture as opposed to trying to change it, you've committed the ultimate sin of being born to the wrong parents. Go back some generations, these same people would've fought to keep kings on thrones because, after all, it was their birthright to be the ruler. The U.S. was, for a short time, a meritocracy. If we're truly going to fix our culture, we need to be one again. There's a reason pride is one of the seven deadly sins.

For those mentioning the DATE... the trial COMPLETED on 27 May 2021. In this case, it took 3 Years for the case to be heard. Whereas, if an officer does something bad, the case is heard, and with a verdict in LESS than one year (Chauvin). The wheels of justice spin much faster, if the accused is a white cop apparently.

So, the verdict was only about a week ago, for a case that started in 2017.

jmo, but it only takes a couple blm types to threaten to dox the rest and you have a jury just like floyd, afraid for their families.

This can’t be true, if so it’s absolutely ridiculous. I’ve been saying that we need to bring back anonymous public hangings. No 15 min of fame and no martyrdom.

I’m NY born and raised, so I can relate to what you said about how transplants are generally received on this forum. I guarantee I hate NY more than anyone on here.

What I should have said is “how did we allow ourselves to get to this point?”

I think it’s comfort. We all have way too much to lose standing up to this crap. At the same time, being complacent guarantees we all lose in the end. I’m half hoping everything goes to complete shit sooner rather than later so the public wakes up and we can rebuild and move on. IMO, we’re too far gone to turn it around and I’d rather deal with it now than dump it on my kids. You might think that’s a defeatist attitude. I think it’s pragmatic. Unless Thanos appears and snaps his fingers to make the dead weight disappear I don’t see the situation improving anytime soon.
