Surprise MFers!

Maybe a harpoon like on the tuna boats. No use endangering yourself.

Those sons of bitches in that sub had to be wondering how TF it would be possible for something to be banging on their door.

Not really, they know there's a high chance they're going to get picked up.

I spent a summer working the counter-drug maritime operations mission; there's a lot that goes on that most will never be aware of. Never mind the legal aspects, just the interdiction's alone are fairly well coordinated.

These home grown, jungle built subs (BTW, they don't actually submerge, they're more of a Hunley type sub, where the snorkel/sail is always above water) are nothing new. It is (however) pretty ingenious, and seeing how they're made is pretty enlightening. "Necessity is the mother of all invention" so-to-speak.

The thing to keep in mind is that these "submarines" are disposable, and have the life expectancy of one drug run. These subs are literally built around the engine and drug pile in the jungles, and slid into the water when complete.

The real "Surprise MFer's!" is when a low observable (stealth) ship comes out of the darkness and scares the shit out the locals. LOL! The comms chatter is priceless...

Knock knock...Hold on I am in the shower. :)

It's more like "Ding!". There's a big brass bell on the watch floor, and every time a successful interdiction occurs, someone gets up, walks over, and yanks the lanyard. Some days it seems like the bell tower at Notre Dame is ringing...

While this is a fun video, it reminds be of a dozen videos where LEO are dragged by cars....

a columbian coke boat- aka - semi submersible is still a transport vehicle

Keep a safe distance - Let the 20 MM chain gun do the knocking.... Unless the CIA is back in business of selling Cocaine.... let it sink...

A pile of blow is just a press op.... shoot it up, let it sink... the poor bastards making $5K to drive the boat to the noses of North Americans never get much jail time....

they are the poorest of the world...

it.s not a sub- it cannot dive... its a low profile boat... it is mainly in the water and moves slow....

WTF, they're paying a million dollars for those shitboats? Thank God the drug smugglers aren't too bright.

Just pull the pin on a grenade, drop it in the hatch when it opens and bail off! Problem solved.

One of my many missions in the military was to chase these things down with our CDU bird. I’ve seen some pretty interesting designs

You know how the day after the Superbowl all these poor, underprivileged kids in Africa are wearing free surplus game shirts that no one wants?

That’s since when.

Cheers, Sirhr
That’s pretty much how the USCG gets all of their shit, damn near everything that we had was DoD hand downs.

In 1990 I reported a periscope/snorkel one night and got laughed at because the area was too shallow for a full size sub. ?‍♂️
