You know the gov really owns your land, right? You just lease it under the guise of ownership and taxes, but nobody really owns their land.
The "War on Drugs" is such a great sham, so blatantly obvious.

In talking to lots of folks about the added hidden cost to everything, an the amount of people it directly or indirectly employs. Think about the total money, products, services, an people involved. People never effected do not exist, everyone pays for the drug trade threw, Insurance of every kind, Taxes, Medical policy's, Food, drink an the list is almost never ending, as the public picks up the tab for everything under the cost of doing business. Now add the money being made by Banks laundering it all, it's staggering. You go to a car/truck dealer to buy a new or used ride, every crime committed against that dealership is factored into the selling price. Just like the beer you buy has a % built into it for the beer that was stolen by the hood rat drug's your paying the rent, food an everything else for. The war on drugs gets won, it's over for this economy.

Well I'm surprised that Congress was so blatantly open in creating legislation to further prevent a wall/barrier being built in Texas counties with high flows of contraband.
You'd think they would try to mask their desires by applying the legislation to all counties on the border.
