Uh, Oh! This man fights. He should not be spared.

It's a bad thing to fight for accountability?

Its what he was trained to expect.

Its why it is so disturbing to his soul.

The Marine Corps like no other pushes history and the privilege and sacrifices of leadership.

More than anything the senior has a responsibility to the junior if it is expected that the junior will go to his death on the orders of the senior.

The seniors are violating that trust and confidence.

The disturbing thing is this sounds almost like communication he knows he will not live beyond.

You caught that to huh? Some of it certainly seemed that way! He also eluded to what happens or lack there of when on stays within the system...

Many, many here have served in the military and know...absolutely know that service members voluntarily and knowledgably give up certain rights and freedoms that other Americans enjoy.

The entire USCMJ is just one LARGE example. It is NOT the justice system (if we even have one anymore...sigh) of the civilian world.

One of the things you give up, particularly officers and others in leadership roles, is the right to criticize your chain of command outside of that chain and in the public domain.

He has been relieved of his command, properly IMO, and he subsequently resigned.

He should have resigned and then expressed himself publicly as guaranteed for civilians by the 1st A.

Its not that I disagree with his view on this atrocious cluster fuck of a withdrawal. Not at all. But as an O-5, he absolutely knew what was going to happen when he went public with this criticism and he did it anyway.

If I was his commanding officer, I would have relieved him of his command responsibilities also. The military is NOT a democracy and, IMO, appropriately so.

Hell, if you have a management/leadership role, try criticizing the CEO of your corp employer publicly and you will get the same "we have lost confidence in you" and you will be walked out the front door.

The people in power should rightly fear people like that.

You have no obligation to follow unlawful orders or leadership.

Perhaps he does not believe the election baloney and the part about his oath is kicking in.

He acknowledges that he was relieved for cause and than could have spent the next three years handing out tennis rackets but he has determined that he will resign without the strings attached.

Your points are valid but we appear to be in extraordinary times.

Oh, my friend....I have zero problem with him having a conflict of conscience and no longer be willing to support either this fucked up mission or, as in this case, his incompetent senior leadership...military and political (cause, in this country the military is commanded by a politician).

I have zero problem with him thoroughly castigating his military and political leaders..... when he is no longer in the military. They deserve it and should be roasted for it. And I hope that now as a civilian he continues it.

My only point was that those consequences could not have been a surprise to him at all and that as an active duty officer it was a violation of trust and military discipline for him to express these views while still serving in a command/leadership position. He knew he was going to get fired and he was.

Its ok if others disagree with me.....but this is nothing new, its the way the military has always run (and I know you know this from first hand experience also) and will happen anytime an active duty officer/leader goes on record publicly criticizing his chain of command.

That same standard was not applied to Lt Col Douche (Vindman)...it is illegal for a Commissioned Officer to criticize/question the Commander in Chief...even after they are no longer in the military. It's in the UCMJ.

hahaha...so, are you trying to convince me that our political and military leaders are a bunch of hypocrites and lying spin doctors?

You preaching to the choir, mate.

And it has zero do with this the gentleman in question in this thread.

Didn't your mommy ever tell you two wrongs don't make a right?

Yo. This dude needs to sleep with 1 eye open. I can't wait to see what kind of shit storm he can stir up. He is a prime candidate to receive the Epstein treatment though. Good luck to him.

Side note: I'm no chess player, but I have to wonder if the pieces on the board have the camera's side in checkmate. Maybe one of u can look at it and let me know. If so, that would be some of the most gangster shit I've seen in a while.

If you are saying that he should have resigned and then posted his original message. What kind of attention would that have gotten?

Let's see if he has a plan. Any moderately trained badass can cause all kinds of havoc. Is his plan just to bring the system down? The commies are ready to grab power if that happens. Is he going to exploit the corruption, ineptitude, and weakness that is in place at the moment? Again, what replaces it? People will follow a strong leader, but to where? The Beatles said it 40 years(+) ago: you want a revolution? We'd all love to see the plan.

Camera man is not in checkmate as bishop could take bishop then pawn take bishop and so on so there is moves left, camera man king not in jeopardy yet, aKA not checkmate but the, it’s their move as to what happens next that is implied and that sir is still gangster. I just hope homie can bring to the table what he says/acts like he can and doesn’t fade away.

Does not appear to checkmate or remotely close to it. Game looks barely played with only about 3 or 4 pieces taken between both sides

Well, the point of "(and I know you know this from first hand experience)" was addressed to someone who I know was in a position at one time in his life where these considerations were known and applicable to him as well as myself and many others on here.

As for my point, I'm not sure how I can make it more clear:

1. I do not disagree with his assessment of his senior military/political leadership and its abject failure. I hope he continues to fry their ass.
2. He was properly fired from his command position for his actions and if I was his commander I would have done the same.
3. I don't give a flying fuck if he would have gotten more or less attention to his positions if he had resigned first. It was his responsibility to do so if he wanted to publicly express the views that he did.
4. As for some others who cited that shit head Vidman getting way with his contemptible actions....do I need to again say "didn't your Mommy tell you that two wrongs don't make a right"? He too should have been relieved of duties....and frankly he should have at least gotten an Article 15 if not an Article 32/CM.

I guess I've expressed my views on this as clearly as I'm able so I'm moving on.

It is indisputable that he violated UCMJ, that he knew exactly what he was doing and the certainty of consequences. He fell on his sword nonetheless. To have remained and been silent would have been a stain on his honor.

To some people, the ability to look yourself in the mirror and know that the face looking back at you is not that of a lying dirt dirtbag make it worth those consequences.

I wonder what he has written, and highlighted on the card stock taped to the bus interior. His spoken words are a bit confusing and cryptic.

This sorta thing is not necessary at this time. In fact it could do more harm than good to our efforts to regain this country. we Are indeed at a tipping point. One of the only good things to come from what happened in 2020 and the state of affairs our country is in because of the current criminals is everybody is now starting to realize the dems are no longer the dems they remember. the people are realizing just how bad a job these assholes are really doing. With 2022 right around the corner and no real viable presidential candidate the left is about to go for away for A Good while. Now, with everything all fucked up and the dems still manage to “ pull off a victory” yeah it then maybe time to saddle up. This also applies to the rinos. Their time is up as well. Time to get a real job. The only caveat to my statements above would be if the military executes a removal of Biden and his cabinet Based on all the criminal shit they are doing to weaken this country and help bring it to its knees. at That point shit’s real and militia mobilizes and asks for orders.
the left also knows that this scenario is possible which is why they are culling all freedom loving men and women in favor of the mike byrds and the Lesbo ( thank you for your service btw) threatening Americans that she‘ll enforce Marshall law If ordered to do so.
no, at this point we continue to strengthen our voting laws and we get rid of the voting machines that both sides proclaimed can be manipulated. And we see how things shake out. Sure this country will be morally, monetarily, and religiously bankrupt but we can start to rebuild what’s left and prepare for the final act. The republicans should repeal every single gun restriction because they won’t be in power forever and the people will need every tool at their disposal because the world will Be coming.

Call me the Doubting Thomas of the forum, but why couldn't this be a ploy from the Left to get information on us via a supposed patriot coming of age? We've never heard of him before this week. He's not been on anyone's radar as far as I can tell.

I don’t doubt him one bit. I think he is truly speaking his piece. A lot of it in the ranks, even though no one has the balls to do what he did.

in the last year, I became very anti-army because of all the bullshit going on. When you have all this wokeness in the ranks where it doesn’t belong, it degrades the mission. I’m glad I was med retired because I wasn’t going to renew my contract.

The army has two jobs, kill people and break shit.

I only served in line units. Until I had a patient, I was doing everything they did.

I agree with this. As it now stands and as so forcefully demonstrated by the fiasco this last November, elections are totally useless now. You can vote your way into communism but you'll never vote your way out of it.

Some people reach a point where they no longer give a shit about consequences.

People in power have ways of dealing with those people too. Once convicted and incarcerated they loose most of their audience.

Good luck to this guy in the rest of his life. But, it seems he expects the US Government to be something it is not. Hard knocks comming.

I don’t think people are waking up at all. In facf, I think the sides are digging deeper in. Ain’t nobody really moving to shore up the elections much other than a few voting laws here and there and a mysterious few audits that have all but gone quiet. Still nothing about truly fixing what’s going on. To start they can get rid of this mail in shit. If you can buy groceries then you can get out and vote, in person. Next get rid of these machines.

What could they possibly learn from this that they don’t already know? I don’t know about you and your background but there is literally nothing I could add that they don’t already know about me. They know everything about me, quite literally lol and If then don’t right off the bat then they can find it with a few keystrokes. Lol. That goes for most of us here I would think.

I disagree. In chess the white pieces move first, there have been 4 moves...unless one side or the other changed a move, with the bishop or the knight. That is completely possible. The only moves on a chess board that cannot be reversed are pawns. Certainly something to think about though. Hmmm.

Alright, the mommy comment was unnecessarily snarky and I apologize.

But didn’t you bring up that asshole Vindman peaching on his commander in chief as a counter to this guy getting fired?

And you aren’t the only one to throw that out.

so leaving out Mommy, what does Vindman have to do w this guy? As I said, IMO Vindman deserved some serious consequences…..which did not happen.

But that’s where two wrongs don’t make a right come in. They are separate incidents and one doesn’t justify the other.

peace brother and again, sorry for the snark.

FWIW: I made this board a couple years ago. I made the ceramic pieces in high school 30+ years ago...I made a board back then too, but this one is all hard wood, used laminate for the other board, it turned out nice, but nothing compared to solid the hardwood one.
