I’ll keep this short, because I think that’s how he would have wanted it. For those that knew him, his passing is a great loss. 1J04 just let us know that, this morning Veer_G passed from this world. He will be missed by many here, so I thought I’d pass the word so that people could pay their respects in whatever manner their religion or way of life demands.

His passion for proper grammar and his wit will be sorely missed, and we are lesser with his passing.

    With respect,

    MPMI

Wow, this seems so out of the blue. Any information what happened?

    Hi,

He has been having health issues for a little while now.

    RIP My Friend!!!
There are phrases on my website that will never be changed now as they will always remind me of you.

    Rest In Peace Veer😞 Remembering....

Larry posted a pic of a bear that his buddy had shot in like a game cart on wheels and Veer said something along the line of ‘we are shooting disabled bears now?’ I laughed so fuckin hard I had tears running down my face😂🤣😂 His intelligence and wit were top notch and he will be missed😢

He's the one who found/gave me my 'avatar' here of the 'googly-eyed moose'. And I've exchanged a gamut of Indian recipe's with him over the years. Not to mention chatting of other thing and stuff.

He'll definitely be missed, and his absence noted.

    Sat Sri Akaal

Yes, he was quite the foodie. We shared a few recipes as well. 😔

A Genuine gentleman, and if I don't miss my guess a real life badass. Someone whose company would have been wonderful to enjoy and whose friendship would have been worth his weight in gold when the chips were down. May VerrG RIP.

    Wow.
I had no idea he was facing health challenges, at least not to that extent.
Obviously, I had never met Veer, but you get a peek into people's personality over years on boards like this.....so you feel like you knew him even if you did not.
Terrible to hear. I will definitely be praying for his family.

I also only knew him vicariously through this site. By that means I knew that he had a sharp wit and a strong character. I knew that he stood fast to his beliefs and made it known when he felt he had a chance to correct or educate someone.

He will be missed. RIP Veer.

Wow . We've lost a good man . I will miss him . We never did catch up with each other due to his recent mobility and health issues . I still owe him a box of Yum Yum Doughnuts . Quite surreal . Waheguru , Waheguru , Waheguru .
    Go with love Brother .

    RIP Veer

I’ve only been here a year but you really get to know the names here and build a mental picture of the person they are after a while. He was one of many great guys here. We just never know which post will be our/their last

    Rest easy hide brother

    In Remembrance of Veer_G

    He will not grow old,
As we who are left grow old.
    Age will not weary him,
    Nor the years condemn,
At the going down of the sun
Or at its rising in the morning,
    We will remember him.

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rains fall soft upon your fields,
    And, until we meet again,
May your God hold you in the hollow of his hand.
    We will remember you.

    The journeys over,
    The road ends,
    A last good bye,
    From your friends,
    We will remember you.
