They say it is all forged and is fully +P rated. With SA reputation for standing behind their products and a 650 MSRP I will be buying several. I was about to buy a second MK III for a custom gun build and it was looking to be 1200 for one. This has made me so happy.

It comes with a 15rd mag..... Does it work with the old 13 rd mags? I have a pile of those.

I have never wanted to buy a 9mm, until now.

This is awesome - Apparently they deleted the magazine disconnect as well and the sights got an upgrade. Word has it that "most" BHP aftermarket parts will work with it too. If that's the case, it's conceivable that it could be a home run.

Looks like this is the pistol that everyone has been lusting after and no one dared ask for publically.

They should have fixed the shitty reset on the P35, but it is pretty cool they are doing this.

Not a bad price point, especially for a handgun made in the US, but I'll still be one to wait it out and not be a general public beta tester.

I was a little curious at the tease last week if they were actually going to design and release something for themselves, but I'm not surprised in the least they've continued their pattern of rehashing instead.

The Massholes in your govt let you have that?

The acceptance stamps on it show it was definitely made before May 8th 1945.

    It was Großvatered.

Only fired it once......the trigger pin started to walk out. Understand that is a common problem with these.

Might need to get a new pin or perhaps try to swage the inside of the trigger pin holes with artful use of a punch.

Any dealers on here have a line on these? I’m wanting to order 4 of them.

Matte bluing looks like ass. Want to send a pair for checkering and hard chrome, and a pair for checkering and deep polished blue. Probably get Yost front sights on the blue ones and red insert sights on the chrome.

I wish the makers of Browning designs would fix one thing.......

Check out the frame at the mag release on my gun and @Maggot s .45......

The builders actually tried to create a nice radius around the mag release button and catch.

Early commercial Colts did a beautiful job radiusing the frame there. The unhappy labor that built mine may have been fitting short firing pins or other sabotage but they had enough pride to radius my frame in that area pretty good.

Looking like Springfield found it easier to machine a "flat" in their radius.

Well, there are much worse choices the could have rehashed.......so there's that

Well that is what I am saying. If they are going to improve it by taking out the mag disconnect, they might as well not give it an two inch reset. Even just putting in a garthwaite trigger system (I don't know if they are still made now that he is dead) did a lot for it, but just about every custom hi power guy has a way of making the reset better.

    Well maybe they did.

    Getchasome and post a review.

Have mine on order at the LGS. $640 so this gives you a street price. They have 3 on order and the order is confirmed, just waiting now.

Hell of a of a price for full metal gun in P35, which of course it is. Cant argue that price.

I've read the reviews. They all lament the long ass reset. I've done my time with Hi Powers. Love the way they feel in the hand, shoot fine, but I find them way more difficult to switch back and forth with modern pistols than 1911s. And I am so all in on the platforms I have gone with that I am pretty much set.

There was rumor that tisas and SA made a deal. Tisas stopped importing to the US citing an agreement with another company.
Very well might be tisas made.

Brand new Hi Powers we’re over $800 when I bought my first on in the early 2000’s. This price is good.

Says made in USA, not assembled, but I do wonder where the forgings for the frame and slide come from. The matte blue, while gross, definitely works to keep the cost down. Will be contacting every gun dealer near me today.

Is the true attraction to you that the French term for the P35, "Grande Puissance" looks like "Great Pussy" in English?
