I have a squirrel that has lived in my backyard for years now. He has a very specific spot on him that identifies its him; we named him Maurice.

He's figured out its safe in my yard and made a giant hole/rape lair between some boulders where he hangs out and invites bitches back to. He must be the alpha squirrel around here because ever since he showed up, I've seen exactly 0 other squirrels.

Reminds me I need to buy him one of those corn on the cob stands.

i had an old house built in the early twentys, windows galour, everywhere.
the house had a nook that was big enough for a table and 6 chairs with windows as walls.
i had my coffee there in the mornings and watched a squirrel sit on this feeder that looked like a little bench and table with the table having a nail in it to hold a piece of corn...
he always ate on a magnolia seed pod and we watched each other in the morn over coffee

Hah. Just don't do a search for "MILF squirrel."

Darwin would be intriqued.

You have a small rat that has evolved into using "the Deke" as its means of confusing predators and along come cars and for the last 100 plus years their desired route of natural selection/evolution doesnt fall for the ruse.

I wonder what they will evolve to avoid cars in the future.
