Trigger cam or tactacam

I have triggercam 2.1. Really happy with the quality and results.

Quick edit. On the vortex strike eagle 2, it works great. You can see the difference in glass quality. On a loopy mk5hd the mag throw lever does touch the bottom front of the triggercam, so you have to pull the trigger cam back slightly. Annoying, but worth noting. Other scopes have been no issue.

Where's a good place to buy the Triggercam from in the US?
Thanks

Thanks it just seems to me that the triggercam has better quality of videos than the other one from what I've seen on videos

I have a Triggercam 2.1, it pisses me off... Not very impressed.

- As soon as you turn it on, it begins filming
- My iPhone doesn't like talking to it unless I'm on aeroplane mode
- Often I (and others using it) stop filming when they wanted to start filming, it's difficult to tell what's going on without the app
- Mine shit itself last week, it was frozen, had to plug it in and after about 10 minutes it finally settled down?
- The little metal discs that protect the focus ring and power / output / card ports are finicky
- It comes with a tonne of shims, with no markings, changing scopes constantly you have to be paying attention to get the right one
- It took me a bit to get it to focus (the app vs PC screen are very different I have found)

Overall, I'd like to love it... But, it's just not great right now I think. Not $900+ AUD good.

Lucky i got mine for $660 aud.

The focus thing is a bit dicky to get used to, and yea the shims need some sort od number or compatibility guide/list provided, but thats really a non issue.

As for film at turn on. I dont have that and wish i did. Setting somewhere ?

How do either one effect your view behind the scope?

Triggercam does add a glass lens infront of your eye. It does effect vision. Its minimal, but its there..

It doesnt turn a tier 1 scope into some 30+ year old junker, however it does have an effect because its there.

Anyone made an ocular cap for the Triggercam 2.1? Found nothing on the net

Is there a max caliber/case size limit they recommend due to recoil?

Not that im aware of. I know people who have used it on 300wm, but personally never more than 308.

I also have both - Tactacam and Triggercam.
I prefer the Triggercam. It provides a better picture quality to the eye and to the video.
I have just compiled a video comparing both cameras in real environment.
Both cameras were set with the same parameters for resolution and frames per second.
