I was in Malta for the meeting between Bush I and Gorbachev.
The meetings were supposed to be on the USS Belknap and the CCCP Slava.
Truth be told the Belknap was looking pretty rusty but everyone on board was actively painting.
A giant Med storm rolled in and moved the meeting to a Soviet cruise ship.
Slava is at the bottom of the Black Sea now.
