Musk is 100 percent right that AI is an existential threat. Fortunately even the work he is doing creating/training it is still just big data.

I have an acquaintance and his son who have literally talked hours with me about this subject. They both are extremely intelligent men, no hyperbole they are genius level and the son to the point of being socially awkward.

@sirhrmechanic you are 100% right here. Real AI is not yet a reality. We cannot even comprehend real AI. A machine that can solve problems so complex as to boggle human minds in mere moments. A machine that cannot be out maneuvered, outpaced or outran. A machine that quite logically in moments would determine that humans are a virus on the planet and more likely than not determine to kill them all. Real AI that is, not advanced machine learning.

After literal sleepless nights from those discussions and prayer I am of the opinion that the Beast (not AC, the Beast) is AI. A central sentient machine which will do the heavy lifting for the AC. The miracles and “peace” brought about by the AC could simply be the machine making the chaotic world Orderly and livable.

Whether my theory is correct or not, Musk is right.

I agree with this. What seems like intelligence is 70 years of code stacked on itself.
Can AI do anything without first having interface with the user? Can AI independently do anything?
As long as the power source can be disconnected it has an off switch.
The question becomes, who controls the on/off button. This question is where the threat is.

It isn't about who does the winning or losing. It's just who does the choosing. Been this way a long time now.

They are actively displaying it now, the depravity. The wallowing and celebration of the darkness. That Super Bowl show….the commercials…..programming…..leaders…..all spouting lies over and over to the point that subconsciously we all begin to be accustomed to that filth. The culture war is lost. If you still have your offspring in public school then you value things over your blood.

Masks are coming off.

Trump isn’t saving us. The former US will cease. God will not save it. Your nation has zero relationship to geography. Everything is your responsibility. They won’t stop. Always be working.

I did back to back testing of open headers versus full exhaust on several very stout cars back in the day and the cars slowed down open. They sound great though 😎

*I am sure tuned to run open a slight perf Increase is likely but then it’ll run rich quieted down.

*One very quick car ran the same through cats/full exhaust vs. open.

*I admit to having strict ideas on what a street car is.

To this point, most people think AI = Artificial Intelligence

The fact of the matter is that AI = Algorythmic Imitation.
