Unfortunately I learned that as a teenager when my grandfather passed.

I have been making digital copies of a lot of them since it is hard to find modernly published music by some of these artists. New Christy Minstrels, The Brothers Four, etc.

That and copies of the historical family pictures including names and dates.
I did Live Sound Engineering for the Brothers Four in the late 70's/early 80's as an independent Sound Contractor in relatively small venues in the greater Seattle area. I'd discuss with them in advance of their shows and tell them that I wanted to get the Front of House Fill to just basically take care of the room, after that, they were welcome to increase their volume on stage to provide additional fill as they saw fit.

I did, they adjusted as they saw fit and it worked out very, very well. Some of the best/most enjoyable sound that I ever mixed.

All nine justices, in a rare step, on Tuesday released a joint statement reaffirming their voluntary adherence to a general code of conduct but rebutting proposals for independent oversight, mandatory compliance with ethics rules and greater transparency in cases of recusal.

Google says it was from Slyce Pizzeria in Port Orange, FL. Looks like the the restaurant caught fire a few years back and they've never reopened. Sorry you had to find out this way.

Pizza Hut used to have a double decker pizza like that. Forgot what it was called. But it was damn good. Back when Pizza Hit didn’t suck.

Now all the ingredients are so processed that you can’t taste anything except the sawdust in the crust.

My SIL and her husband own Giuseppe's steel city pizza in Pt. Orange, FL. He's has a really good wing recipe.

Dumb enough to stand that close, lucky enough to not die.

Two things I didn't notice until I watched it closely a couple times.

1. Whatever hit him, you can see it hit the ground about 10-15ft in front of him before bouncing up into his face.

2. When he goes to check his face in the mirror, all the airbags in the truck deployed.

Often stupid should be expensive and that was very expensive.

"Hi this is OnStar. We detected your airbags have deployed. Is everyone OK?"

"Well we's was shootin Tannerite from about 20 feet away and I got an owie"

Pizza hut sold to Pepsi in 1977, the demise started in 1980 when Frank Carney left and Pepsi started cost cutting but YUM destroyed the brand with their brand of "spreadsheet-induced decline in quality"

It was called "Priazzo". Had to use some sort of spiral shaped heat conductor with prongs that was placed into the pie to allow for even cooking. Looked like a crampon for an elephant! I personally didn't like them, but they were popular for some time, at least around here. That was in '86-'87 or so......I remember going home and my hands smelled like green peppers from all the pizzas I made...
