Actually, it would depend on the state BFC chose to divorce his sugar momma in. If it was Kentucky, he could absolutely take half her stuff along with a fat alimony check. They don’t care what sex you are, they only care about who makes the money, then they take it and give it to the mooch for the number of years you were married/3.
About ten years ago I had to work for two months with a certain female who had been with the company for many years. She had just gone through a divorce where some man had done just what BFC is proposing to her. It was all I could do to keep my composure as she bitched nonstop about how a$$ raped she had gotten in the divorcé settlement and just couldn’t believe why the court thought this was even reasonable. She finally made the mistake of asking me if I thought what happened to her was fair, especially since she was a woman, I mean how could the courts allow a man to take advantage of her like that. I said something to the affect that no, it’s not fair nor is it fair to the all of the men who have gotten divorced in this this state either, but at least they are treating everyone the same. That shut her up.
Kentucky is a bad state to get divorced in if you are the bread winner, but I’ve heard there are worse states. Apparently, some award lifetime alimony instead of limiting it to the number of years married divided by three.
