I work for the light rail system in Denver and occasionally we have to transport entire truck assemblies from one shop to another. These fucking things are the size of a small car and probably weigh 4 tons. One of our mechanics, who isn’t known to pay very close attention to pesky safety concerns, just plopped one onto our stake bed and drove off. When someone asked him about it he shrugged his shoulders and said “It’s heavy enough, it isn’t going anywhere”. And that’s exactly why nobody works near him unless it’s absolutely necessary

Always remember when securing things…. It’s pretty much impossible to “accelerate it off the back.” But pretty easy to decelerate it through the front of your trailer or back or your sleeper!

Last time I saw beer marked like that was in the 80s. Took a boat to a small island a few miles off Okinawa. The people were just getting into maybe the 40s technology wise. Cars didn’t have plates, no stop lights or signs and maybe 20 percent of the homes had electricity. Saw the beer on a shelf in a mom and pop store.
