Me, a right angle Milwaukee, 3-5/8 self feed bit drilling stack holes overhead.
"Reverse will unjam this bit."
Well....my work was done for the day. Daddy had to take dikes to the wires of my braces so I could close my mouth.
You would respect a Milwaukee from the 70s and 80s.
Just a good thing it wasn't the Hole Hawg.

Right at the same time frame. Hilti TE72 drilling straight up into rock with a 3/4" x 18" long bit. Pushing the drill with my shoulder. Bit hung. Don't remember much about the next hour. A learning experience.

Thank you,

^^^ This.

I still watch it every time I see it on!!!!

"I have this (produces pistol). And this (produces grenade). Sort of balances me out!" -- Raefer Janders (Col., Ret.)

I saw it in the theater as a kid and it was the greatest thing I ever saw up to that time! That and "A Bridge Too Far."

But it is cheesy as hell!

Cheers,

How about "The Sea Wolves", with Gregory Peck and Roger Moore? Based on true events... During World War II, British Intelligence bring members of The Calcutta Light Horse out of retirement to take to the seas and pull off an unlikely undercover mission in neutral Goa.

Then there's "North Sea Hijack" or "Ffolkes" as it was called in the US. With Roger Moore.

A buddy in the early 90's was a Class 7 'smith and brought some college kid from U.T. out to let him shoot his FA Uzi. Les had his 1911 on his hip and gave the kid instructions on how to hold it, lean into it and what to expect.

His final bit of advise was"...I'm going to stand behind you. If you let it get away from you or drop it while it's in full auto, I'm going to shoot you...in the head."

I think the kid realized right then the importance of maitaining control of the gun.

Father in MA brought his son to a "fun shoot" at his gun club. The highlight was a full auto mini uzi.

The gun rolled back and shot the kid in the head.

Gross.

Should have been better thought out.
