No, it showed up in a group that I belong to “Is This MUTCD Compliant?” Primarily Transportation Professionals who share road sign and striping oddities that they encounter. It wouldn’t surprise me about the location, although I have seen similar ground in CA, ID, NM, and WY.
MUTCD = Manual of Uniform Traffic Devices
Is that how you do eggs now?I had a smaller than usual gathering for Easter, one of my sons and my son in law are firefighters and had to work. I smoked a pork loin and my other son, daughter, two of the grandsons and a few close friends joined us for lunch after church. The almost 3 yr old found some eggs and got into a losing water fight with his uncle.View attachment 8387268View attachment 8387269View attachment 8387270View attachment 8387271View attachment 8387272View attachment 8387273View attachment 8387274View attachment 8387290View attachment 8387293

My son had a town house once upon a time that had an under stair closet like that.
They have been the best part of the the last 3 years of our lives for sure. We get to watch those two and their older brother this evening, will be the highlight of the week!!Those are some adorable grandkids!!
congrats grandpa!!!
Looks like a wonderful celebration with family.
My wife saw it and had to buy it for the grandkids. Definately no mess.Is that how you do eggs now?
No bowls of colored water to spill everywhere, the little metal loop thingy to hold the egg. This seems like cheating.
Speaking of reparations, I have a funny story.
A friend of mine from Ohio was in trade school (this was in the early 80's) in an electronics class. One of the students was black and was going on and on about how he was entitled reparations, generally being a jerk about it. My friend replied that his family never owned slaves, and on top of that, his great, great grandfather fought and died in the civil war, on the Union side, to free his ancestor's black asses. So now the black student owed HIM reparations! The whole class laughed and clapped, including the teacher. The poor entitled idiot stormed out and never came back.
There was no consensus there, but I have a feeling that it is a “State Compliant” sign. We have quite a few signs that follow the guidelines of the MUTCD, but are not part of their published collection. So what was the consensus? Was it compliant?
That is a powerful argument.
One Union soldier died for every six slaves in the South. That's a hell of a butcher's bill. Today I see zero gratefulness for their sacrifice. Or for the decision to put the past behind us to move forward afterwards. Or a warning that we need to find a way out of our disagreements.
I have the books showing some of my ancestors owned a hundred slaves and a thousand acres of bottomland. I also have photos of my kids in front of historical markers where others won battles for the Union and built schools for freed slaves.
Making war on your brother to free others.

The absolute zenith of "Automotive Ignition Excellence".
Hard to believe that was the fastest 1/4 mile production vehicle in 1978 ( could be wrong about the year)
That's white privilege right thereView attachment 8388913
