Disappointed to learn there’s no basement located in the Alamo
Well, I met 2 grumpy Alamo Rangers.
One responded when I asked if there was the basement tour, he just looked at me and said there’s no basement here. The other ranger said no and just walked away.

I have seen a bollard fly a hundred yards or so. I was running tow lines into the shallow water to a barge that was on the beach inside the jetties.Thought is was a person at first
When they started pulling on it that let go from the barge with a helluva noise. Glad we were a couple hundred yards away.
