We had the same thing....but they were barrel racers. Like dressage girls but poor.
Yes, replying to my own post but think this picture warrants some explanation for some folks that aren't savvy with equine lameness/broken legs.
In this particular case- I understand some of the background of this picture. I believe the backstory is the horse broke its leg and was going to be put down. However, before it was put down, it was rescued by a charity specializing in these type of things and instead fitted the horse with a prosthesis (the one pictured) saving the horses immediate life and allowing the horse to live in a protected state/status afterwards. So just wanted to explain why this picture warranted 'awesome' status.
