I'm going to be attending a LE Basic
Sniper course. The packing list says to bring hide building supplies like veils, tacks, 550 cord, duct tape, pruning scissors, etc...
Does anyone have some other suggested items that would be helpful?
Thanks

Thanks.
I have a heavy duty tripod with Hog saddle. As well as a spotter tripod.
Are you using the bedsheets to prevent backlighting?
If it's ever an option to upgrade an arca clamp head will remove tons of shake/wiggle/play. They are also faster and easier to lock into. It's something I didn't know I needed until I bought it and was a gamechanger for me. Good luck at your course!

Bed sheets in grey/black/green, short tripod for vehicle hides, gorilla tape (not duct) shemaghs, (I use a tan one wetted down under the muzzle for dusty ground hides)
I would add find a painter a buy their old drop cloths and add some texture. But the sheets work well too. If you want a more robust option.
The drop cloths work well in a variety of environments nad rubble.

But have fun let us know how it goes

Some of this screen material.
You can put it in a window, as long as you aren't backlit, you can't see in, but you can see out. (that's why you have thumbtacks).
It is also light enough to have very minimal affect on trajectory.

I would also recommend a staple gun with thin staples, they penetrate easier with less damage.

Love the stuff. I'll add that some mottled gray/dark brown paint on one side of it will increase your options. If you are going to be in industrial/commercial type buildings, add some small neodymium magnets to your list. Staples won't go into metal beams or walls.

I'll s3comd the recommendation to go arca instead of a saddle.
