Would see this often up in the Serene Lakes/Soda Springs area near Donner Summit. Locals would also spray paint street names on the snow banks as the signs were buried. More than a few cars didn't survive the weight of all that snow.

Funniest moment of my bike trip was yesterday morning. Leaving a motel just on the north side of Yellowstone. I’m loading up my bike and this mini van full of Indian fucking Abbadaba’s are piling in like a clown car in the hotel parking lot. Had to be about 12 of them in a rental minivan. Adults kids, grandpa, grandma you name it. They’re jabbering away all Screaming at each other at once in Hindi. They get in the minivan and go shooting out of the parking lot, taking a hard right and driver gunned it onto the sidewalk (instead of the road) where they made it between a row of parked cars and the buildings for about 80 yards before crashing into a pile of umbrella tables and hitting a restaurant deck.

It was like something out of fucking Mr. Bean unfortunately my phone was already set up as my GPS in my tank bag so I couldn’t get any pictures.

Ba hahahah…. DWI has multiple meanings!!!

5 years is a minimum. I’m thinking more like closer to 10 years. I’ve been past that station scores of times, and I can’t even remember when it was open. That is a depressing little rez town

Yup. Not a lot of homeowner maintenance going on.

That said there was a junior high football game going on. And the stands were absolutely filled with people and parents. And the kids look like they were having a great time. There were food trucks out and tailgating.

It was certainly a better family scene than I see in most suburban areas. It may not be a rich community. But it sure seems rich in community and family life.

Though that’s a pretty big stretch from just riding around for a half an hour.
