Re: Mayberry 2012 Precision Rifle Series -Maryland

Once I get OK from Mayberry I will post the details of the 1st match (19 Feb) here - I'm the helping Steve Bechtel (match director) for this one. Big thanks to the sponsors, especially the guys who put in gifts for the 1st match - Montour County Rifles, Central VA Tactical, Freddy and his crew at Black Hat, and Tony at Impact Data Books. They support tactical shooting in VA, MD, PA so please support them!

This looks like it will be a lot of fun, great going guys!

Re: Mayberry 2012 Precision Rifle Series -Maryland

I like the idea of a series. Will the individual matches have a smaller prize table as well or will they all be held for the final match?

Re: Mayberry 2012 Precision Rifle Series -Maryland

Each match will have its own prize table. The champions trophy and rifle drawing will be at the finale.

Our first event is this sunday Feb 19, match is full. Registration for April 1 match will open next week. Going to have movers and some new twists to old favorites in April.

Re: Mayberry 2012 Precision Rifle Series -Maryland

To all shooters who are registered for the February Match:

You should have received an email from me containing the Course of Fire (CoF) for the February Match, as well as two other emails with some answers to CoF questions we have received. We had one shooter who didn't receive the email with the CoF. If you have not received these emails, please PM me. Thanks and sorry for any confusion.

Re: Mayberry 2012 Precision Rifle Series -Maryland

Excellent!

Thanks to White Marsh Arms for the EOtech Holosight I was fortunate enough to pick up.

You guys did a fantastic job running this. All were great CoF's that pressed every precision rifle skill set there is.

Re: Mayberry 2012 Precision Rifle Series -Maryland

Yeah, great series guys!

I took a Long Range Accuracy Bipod off the table on my first round of prize selections and a TAB Gear Sling on my second round - pure awesomeness on both. Thanks to both companies.

Looking forward to 2013 a lot!

Re: Mayberry 2012 Precision Rifle Series -Maryland

Freddy, Fargo007 on here, head dude at Black Hat Training Corps. A local guy, Corey, gave him a great run and finished in second in a photo finish... literally one hit difference (over maybe 300rds fired thru entire series).

Corey is an amazing shooter, and really knows his gun well. This could have gone either way. We went into the finale three series points apart. The CoF for the finale was completely bad ass.

I have the scores somewhere. Will dig them up.
