You can't go wrong with Scott at Liberty Optics if you need a Vortex scope. He answers e-mails at all sorts of hours.

We have been told the PST will be shipping really soon.

I have been waiting on an order that was placed 3 weeks ago and have been told for 2 of them that the scope was due in any day....good thing I wouldn't need it until the weather breaks. Lesson learned

If I buy a Viper PST in the future, it will be through Scott at Liberty Optics or Jay at Sportoptics.

Currently have a NF inbound from Sportoptics.com. Jay was great to talk to about my scope desires and selecting a scope that met my needs.

I am working through a return of some product. I will let you all know how it goes, but I have little confidence at this point. I will give OP a chance to make it right. LOL! I just placed an order for 3 different small things on Optics Planet and got an email an hour after order confirmation that all 3 were out of stock. I have been through this before with them and I guess I didn't learn. At least I don't need them right away.

But if you do order from them there is a 5% off coupon code running around - try Google, as I can't remember it.

Edited to add: If you are considering ordering a PST, call Scott at Liberty instead and you will be glad you did. I just ordered a PST 4-16x50 FFP mil/mil from him and I am happy.</div></div>

I don't order anything from optics planet. They charge your card then tell you it's out of stock. They can suck it.

I guess having an "A+" BBB rating doesn't mean much if a company like OP can get away with these types of shady practices.

I've ordered from OP several times with mixed results. Most of the time they have the item in stock, but the last few times they have been backordered.
The backorder time frames I received were accurate, and when I wanted to cancle one order it was a simple email.
I will order from them again, worst thing that happens would be an email to cancle.

I ordered A Burris 1.5 x 6 MTAC scope day before yesterday and got a shipping notice today. I didn't know about the coupons though, damn.

When i bought my PST I ordered from Jay at sport optics. I emailed him directly and had great customer service. They also have free shipping the PSTs.
