I was originally going to build a 5.45x39 AR15 from the ground up and still plan on doing so some day, but unfortunately with all the hobbies I have I can't buy everything. *Sad Face*. So I've been looking at the Huldra Mark IV 5.45x39 upper http://www.huldraarms.com/uppers/product_76b374d367d8/
and was just wondering what all I need for the lower. I'm pretty sure I have it covered but I would rather be safe than sorry.

As many of you know if you have read any of my past posts, I'm just a plinkster who likes to buy high end custom parts for my guns. That's just who I am, no harm done. But as of right now I have to resort to the affordable side of things for a while. So any decently inexpensive parts will suffice with this rifle...for now.

I already have the AX5.56 lower receiver and as of right now I have most of the basic parts installed. I just need a crappy trigger and a decent buffer kit. Any suggestions for these? Can I use a basic 5.56x45 buffer kit with a 5.45x39 ar15 rifle?
Or should I just buy the complete Mark IV rifle? Which is the cheaper route to go?

Thanks for you assistance.

I have a Spike's Tactical 5.45X39 upper and it works on any AR lower using standard parts. Some suggest a heavier hammer spring for surplus primers, but I use a Geissle trigger and did not have any problems.

I went with the Spikes upper because of the Nickel boron and melonite coatings. It makes cleaning alot easier since the surplus ammo is dirty.

You will need either a heavier spring, or something like a FCG that his harder. I find the SSA trigger works great for me on the 5.45 uppers I have owned and used.

Sweet. Thanks guys. I appreciate it. Also the barrel lining and coating of this upper are Melonite so I think it will hold up with the surplus as well as the spikes does.
