From the link:

"Decker spent more than four years in a Virginia prison after a 2006 arrest on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. His blood alcohol-content was .28, he had an open container and two 4-year-old children who were not in car seats. Decker was released from prison in 2010, but arrested for DUI in Alabama four times within eight months."

I vote for an eyeball removal for each child involved. It would also cut down on his ability to drive.

I worked the ER in a major children's hospital. Kids hurt by adults being stupid or malicious is why I don't work it anymore. I'd be in jail for helping the adults understand their flaws in child care, which doesn't let me help anyone else.

Agre with Maggot. 3rd one here in Texas is a felony. Also, it says on one of his arrests, he had 2 4-year old children with him. That also is a felony in Texas.

Re: This is how you know you're a drunk

Can you imagine if he had killed someone on that last drive before he was arrested? I'd have absolutely have gone after the legal licenses of every prosecutor and every judge that gave that piece of shit 23 second chances.

There are 11,000 people killed every year by drunk drivers (1/3 of all driving-related fatalities). These are preventable deaths. Another person's life may only cost the price of cab fare. And hey, if you puke, you don't have to mess up your own vehicle.
