Okay gentleman this what I just turned out at roughly 40ish yards with my Ruger 77/22 shooting Remington Thunderbolt off my bipods. This is a ten shot group and I did pull some shots as you can see in the photo. I know there has been a lot of negative comments about Rugers, I felt compelled to show you what my Ruger turns out when I'm shooting right. I'll post other data later.

Weather data off of National Geographic Super Weather Station
Wind: 1.3
Temp: 57*F
Humidity: 31%
10 shot group by the way

Re: Ruger 77/22LR

If you try some match ammo such as Wolf Match Extra and work on your fundamentals, a 77/22 is capable of that at 100 yards. You'd be surprised at the accuracy you can get at 200 with good ammo and a calm day.

Re: Ruger 77/22LR

The top 4 shots were me and the trigger not being on the same page. I do plan on trying Wolf, Federal, and Lapua Match. My scope is a 1.75-4.5x Bushnell. It sure makes shooting small targets with the heavy duplex reticle which it has, pretty much covers up what I'm shooting lol

My Ruger 77/22LR topped w/ Bushnell 1.75-4.5x

Re: Ruger 77/22LR

Yup, try some better ammo once you get your groove on. You'll be doing that @ 100. Thunderbolts SUCK. That's a nice looking piece of factory walnut ya got there Nathan.

Re: Ruger 77/22LR

Thanks Max and I was using Thunderbolts because that's all I had and didn't feel like running to the local sporting good story. Yeah that walnut is just about perfect! Kind of hard imagining the gun without that stock on it lol
