I think I'm going to take up bowling. The virus that is RedJacket has apparently spread.

Re: When just one bullet won't do the job.

I feel so wrong saying this about a 1911 style handgun, but that thing is ugly!

Re: When just one bullet won't do the job.

I can't wait for the .50GI version.

Also, it still has two hammers, two triggers, and it looks like it takes two magazines, so all they really did was weld two 1911s together.

Re: When just one bullet won't do the job.

just looking at it, one barrel is going to fire before the other and make for a bazar recoil, kind of like letting go a double barrel shotgun in rapid succession

Re: When just one bullet won't do the job.

Can I get one chambered in .45 and 9mm, this way we can really put the whole caliber debate to bed once and for all.

But then what happens when you get into a .40 S&W and 10mm debate?

Re: When just one bullet won't do the job.

How would this not fall under the "machine gun" category. I though a weapon was only allowed to fire 1 bullet per pull of the trigger...

Either case its a neat concept but ugly as sin along with being an abomination in the form of a 1911....

On another note if the timing is off then there might be the possibility of an OOB round going off...

Re: When just one bullet won't do the job.

the same way an old SxS double trigger shot gun doesn't fall under FA... it's firing 2 rounds w/ the pull of 2 triggers

Back in the early 80's at the first SOF convention in Columbia Mo. a guy put a RH an LH 1100 Rem together for B-pin matchs. Everything was great, an the touchy feel'y types were all Google eyed, until ATF came into his tent that day.

Thanks Ray, for the op to learn from you, an hearing about your WW II experience.
You are missed.

If the gun only had 1 trigger and that 1 trigger fired both barrels at the same time then it would be classed as an MG by the ATF. However, each barrel has it's own independent trigger. So even if you're pulling both triggers at the same time, it's still 1 trigger for 1 barrel.
