Re: BOBRO 30mm Mount
I'm also interested in the RT0 with your Bobro and in your experience moving it from one gun to another. I understand the normal variations caliber to caliber but with a good 100 yard zero, that initial first shot should be pretty close (ie 308 & 223 swaps). My 5x20ss/Bobro seems to go back to about 1/2 moa or better but for whatever reason takes a shot or two for it (or me) to settle in. The 5x20ss has proven to be a good value. It ain't no S&B but it ain't $3000.00 either. The glass is fine but I don't like the focus - mine is stiff and inconveniently located. The illumination works fine but will blur on high, however I've shot plenty in the dark on low with fine precision. Also the windage and elevation clicks are slightly mushy compared to my NF. Tracking is spot on and with several shooting days in the rain and fog and thousands of rounds down the pipe, it hasn't leaked. As far as scope height, higher mounts actually lower the vertical error when using the same point of aim..handy for hunting unknown distances.
