anyone have one of these yet? there on the AAC website now i have been looking for a 308 suppressor for a few months it started with surefire. but the SDN6 had "wobble/wear" issues. then i started looking into TBAC because i have a DMPS LR 308 and i would like to get something to also do double duty on my SR556. any suggestions?

Re: AAC SR7

What are you calling "wobble/wear" issues? Is it the difficulty in ratcheting to the tightest setting?

Re: AAC SR7

when it wont go to the next click and its tight, But has a Little radial wobble, Its a case by case basis every SD and 51T seems to be diffrent, You could buy Five 51T mounts and Probly find one that locks up Tight with no wobble . I have the Old 18t and it backs up after a couple shots on a hot 308, But the Perfromance has been so Incredible I just deal with it. The wobble is no issue if you clear the bullet all is good!

The new taper mount makes sence and is a good solution to there growth, I still just Bought a 7.62SD Knowing about the 90T tapper didnt slow me down at all, I like the size and perfromance of the SD and I think its being droped from the Line, if i can work with the 18t 7.62SD for 10k rounds then I can work with a 51t 7.62SD and a little wobble, It will feel tight to me

Re: AAC SR7

Have you considered Surefire? They have all the good features of the AAC and none of the bad ones. Plus, they are currently on the market. It may cost a little more but, in my opinion, it's worth it.

Re: AAC SR7

We're still taking orders for our promo RSTA 30 caliber suppressor. It has nearly identical length forward of the muzzle to the SDN-6, but also goes back over the barrel 2" further for better volume.

The mounts are solid mounts- no coarse threads and ratcheting teeth.

I saw an SDN-6 at a show- impressively compact and light weight. I'm sure they are nice suppressors too, but for the money, once you've purchased the mount, and tax stamp, we're beating their price by $500 with the promo suppressor.

I wish I had know about you before I bought my N6. Hell of a deal! Do your f/a cans allow gas to blow by?
