I have a PACT and like it. It will weigh 50 .223/5.56 loads in 30 minutes, 24 grains of Varget.
I have heard a lot of good things about the RCBS Chargemaster. If I were to have to replace the PACT I'd have to look hard at it before I bought a new dispenser.

I use a Lyman and have not had problems. I also load on a friends Hornady and it works great. Lyman is faster, can't say which one is the most accurate. Hope this helps.

I have the chargemaster and have really enjoyed it so far. the only problem I have come across is when I am loading multiple cartridges of the same powder charge, (which is most of the time) it will trickle and the beep when it is done but will not indicate if the trickler overshot the load so it is easy to overlook and throw a hot charge. It would be really nice if the signal would also inform you that the charge is over the desired load with an extra beep or something. I haven't had this happen too often so it's pretty easy to get lulled into a comfort zone and the next thing you know you're dumping a .3g heavy load in your case. Just my experience with the chargemaster so far. It is a TON more convenient that my old 5-0-5 i'll tell you that.

+1 on the Chargemaster. As I've stated before, make sure the press isn't causing any vibration on your reloading bench when it's in the final slow trickle stage. I eliminated nearly all of my over-throws by watching out for this.

Yep, the Chargemaster works good, I love it.
For non-match target ammo, I go straight from the Chargemater pan and into the case. For match stuff, I set the CM up to dispense just a little short then I use a beam scale and trickle the last 10th or so.

Maybe to save up for one, not to get, please remember one man makes these from scratch, 80-85% is made in his shop, I went to the Masters house to pick up my Gen2, he told me he has about 80 hours in each one, plus he has a full time job, but let me tell ya the wait was worth it.

I just ordered the chargemaster after not having a good experience with the Hornady. The Hornady was always over-throwing regardless of speed setting. Must have gotten a bad apple.

I used a few different ones at friends' houses before ordering the Chargemaster myself. I've been very happy with it so far, but it's not perfect. Even if I'm careful to not have anything wiggle the bench (very solid mounted to wall, etc) or anything at all moving in the room, it will sometimes (1 out of 10 or 12) trickle a tenth or two over. When it beeps saying that it finished, if you give it a couple seconds to display the count of charges that it has dispensed it goes back to displaying the charge weight and does indeed show you the weight, along with little arrows for over or under. When it gets close to the desired weight it spins the tube very slowly to trickle the last bit of powder into the pan. If the last bit of powder comes out as more than one stick of extruded powder like I use for most of my rifle match loads, it goes over a tenth or so. So far every charge that I have dispensed and then verified with my beam scale has been dead on what the Chargemaster said that it was, as long as I went through the calibration sequence (30 extra seconds or so) before I started dispensing.

I used to have a Chargemaster, my Gen2 takes about 11 seconds per charge, I can't seat a bullet faster than the next charge is ready
