Okay fellows, pulled the trigger and bought a gen 1 dta srs today, got 308, 300wm, 338 lapua and Norma barrels. Can't wait to bring it up to TVP. May have to sell a few barrels to help offset cost. Won't make it tomorrow, have to work out of town

The weather was a lot nicer at TVP today than it's been all year. I'm sure it will get better.
Skivy and I did OK today considering all the gun problems we had. I gotta figure out how to shoot Stage 1 of the Intimidator. The stage ate my lunch again.
Saw some new faces out there today too. Was good to meet all of you.

Thanks again for letting us participate in the match yesterday, all of us had a great time. The last 2 courses of fire were very humbling, especially when it became a timed event. You fellas have a real jewel of a range up there and we all look forward to the next time we can make it up.

First of all I want to thank everyone that came out yesterday, good group of people, we had great weather to shoot. Second I want to apologize for not getting the targets painted, I was running late.
To the three(John,Jim,Paul) that drove up from KY and didn't know it was a match, you did just fine. See you again soon
For those who didn't stick around to play you missed two extreme shots. A 308 hitting at a mile and a 375 Allen mag hitting at 2200 yards....WOW

Thanks very much for having us last Saturday. It was an absolute blast! I have not encountered a range where the knowledge and experience was coupled with such a warm and friendly atmosphere. As *bleep* whipped as I am, I believe I have worked out a deal with the wife that should get me up there MUCH more frequently, and I have a feeling Lumpster and M14'er feel the same way. Already planning my ELR build!

I only mention this because, when I stopped to fill up on the way home, the round trip in my truck was $75. The weekend before was $70 and gas is going up. If I could cut that in half or a third I'd have more money for guns and ammo.

You just have to bring plenty of ammo and maybe an extra rifle or 2 to make it worth the trip.

Gas prices may suck but a bunch of us are making the drive back to Thunder Valley Precision from Northern WI. the last weekend in May and its well worth the trip.

It was a great weekend to shoot, condition were perfect for the ELR. Thanks to a scope base issue on my rifle I was able to shoot the 300 Hulk, Thank you Tom

Got my new toy kinda ready. Does seem really odd seeing enough barrel sticking out there that I could have two guns instead of one but seeing hits is totally amazing, never been able to do that before.
