i have read all the 260 threads i can find here, have seen lots posted about the loaded measurement for the 139 gr scenar in remington brass (.291, which is what i get too) and lapua brass (varying numbers depending on who measured the loaded round neck width) has anyone used the nosler 260 rem brass with the 139 gr scenar? if so please advise as to loaded diameter. my .260 is a .296 chamber, i'd prefer not to turn lapua necks, and due to the scarcity of remington 260 brass i am thinking of trying the expensive but available nosler 260 brass. before i order some i would like to find out what clearance i can expect in my .296 chamber. any assistance out there? thanks

I use in in my GAP 260/139gr Scenars with a .293" chamber. It measures .289". I also neck up 243 Lapua brass and then turn the necks.

.295" chamber necks are good for Remington, Nosler, WW or neck turned Lapua. This is what most 260's I build get unless Lapua brass is going to be used. My personal 260's have the .295" neck chamber in them.

.297" chamber necks are what you'll need for un-turned Lapua Brass and .297" is SAAMI for the caliber.
