Need Pmag 5 round mags

Need 5 round mags for hunting. Anybody know whether pmags are available. I checked on the Magpul web page but did not see any.

Magtech makes a plastic clip that is inserted into a pmag to limit to just the 5 rounds that are allowable for hunting. Colorado, for example has such a law.

Maybe reach out to 'hide vendor STA Tactical and see if he could hook you up with some?

Midway sells a 4 round DPMS steel mag. Here, I've got one right now, it fits well but no word on feeding as im still gathering parts. Just remember if they say you can have 5 rounds, thats 1 in the chamber plus 4 in the mag.

Midwest PX also has a service where they pretty much cut a Pmag for you and charge a premium for the privileged. Here

+1 on Midwest PX. I have a few 10 rounders I bought for hunting and now they get more use than my 20 rounders.

I have an old DPMS 10rd mag that came with an old black follower in it. I swapped out the spring and follower for a CS spring and green follower and the added length of the green one limited the capacity to 4 rounds. I use it for my first 2 rounds in the rapid fire portions of a High Power match.

Magpul makes 5 rounder limiter inserts for their 20 round Pmags. Brownells carries them I believe
