According to swfa.com, these 2 scopes have the same retail price.. i have looked at all the specs, but have no way of comparing these in person..just looking for some info from someone who has looked through both...if it was there dollar, which one would they choose and why? really just interested in these 2 scopes...(i already know i will get alot of responses suggesting NF) haha

I've had and used both. They both have pros and cons. For me the HDMR works better. I personally don't care for high rev turrets. I couldn't deal with the mag ring on the SS along with the parallax location. The reticle in the SS is nice but lacks numbers. The GAP2 reticle is almost perfect but wish it used lines and dots along with numbers in all four locations. Like I said. They are both nice but the HDMR works better for me.

I have both sitting here for testing.
The SWFA-SS 5-20 is on the rifle right now. The HDMR is on deck for the next run.
