Let me know what you think! I have more pictures to post. I am new to forums and stippling and I am trying to get ideas for more projects. Would love to see other stippling work from members. Hope you enjoy!
Really liked the magpul logo is all i can say. I wanted some panels to match the e-mag i did. Had the KACs laying around so went to work. The KACs are a great blank canvas for graphics. Thanks for the complement.Have some other pics to post soon. Hope you will check them out.
Uhhh...that's some of the best and most tasteful stippling I've seen. Love the wrap around the mag and the crooked magpuls. Well done, sir. Taking commisions? Might send you a MOE grip, AFG, and Emod...
I used a 1mm 45 degree angle conical tip for all the work on these. it's great for outlining and for getting the right texture in general. I got a soldering iron from a company called antex. model is xs25. tip is #56 for the xs models. I really like that iron because it's light and powerful for the size. and yes the kac panels are hard to work, as for the e-mag it is easy to work.
I used a camera that belongs to a friend. He gave it to me and space to work in for the shots. I just played with it for a day until I figured out what I wanted to capture. Used a 35mm lense, long exposure and shutter speed for high detail and clarity. you have to have a tripod to get close up detail shots in low light. Developed them in adobe lightroom 2. awesome program. thanks for the complements.
I am not sure yet if I want to take on commission work yet. only time will tell, these really are my first attempts at stippling, but i am hooked and want more! I will let you know in the future if I decide to. It would be fun.
That is beautiful work. Now you just need a foster care license, adopt a few orphans, teach them some skills that will get them ready for life, and put them on an extended arts and crafts schedule.
The State will pay you at least $450 per kid per month, plus think of all the dinero you can rake in with this kind of work mass-produced.
HAHAHAHA!!!! Thats hilarious! I would love to have some "tiny" workers to do the grunt work. It is very tiring, but worth it.Extreme patience is best taught when young!
That is outstanding, I consider myself very good with my hands on building and detail work, but you are outstanding...I want to try stippling, but have not done so yet, you got me really thinking...
If you have not tried stippling yet, you really should. If you have an obsession for perfection, you will do well. I think the most important thing is a steady hand!Having never done stippling before I had a vision of what I wanted and worked until I got it right. If you mess up you can always fix it in most cases. The magazines are the easiest to learn on as they are forgiving. The KAC panels are not forgiving and are hard to shape and prep just to start stippling. They are soft and I have seen others go to fast and burn holes through them. Hopefully you will give it it a try. I would love to see other members work.

I was more more or less told the same thing after showing off my stippled AFG to my shooting buddies today....
