Shooting set for 0800, shooters meeting at 0745 on March 4th. $25 entry fee, $100 cash purse available. 40rds COF, 100% of the entry
fee goes to NSSF and we will be at the Ashfork location. We have brought in more targets and 5 of them are full size IPSC targets, 3
others are full size IPSC targets that are cut in half. Expect winning scores to be around the 70 - 90%. Distance from the muzzle to
1100ish. All stages will be some form of prone, we will not have any weird stage requirements. The only thing that will induce stress is the
time limit. See you guys in 1.5 weeks. Please email or call with questions and email if you plan to attend, so that I know how many people
to look for. Call if you are running late so that we dont start shooting. (928) 308-8093.

I think Brad is trying to make the hit ratio higher so in that aspect "easier" but at the same time mixing it up with variety to keep things interesting and challenging.

IMO... Everyone who attends on a regular basis is going to become a better shooter in many ways and have a big smile on their face doing it.

I had a lot of fun last year and expect more so this year!

Way to go Brad!

We are bringing in bigger targets to increase the hit percentage along with targets of differing size. We will be at the Ashfork location. Thanks

I will give up any Superbowl Sunday to Shoot a comp. Congrats Steve Mike and Lowe. I hope I can improove my overall score this year.

Bring some extra ammo and we will play a game of HORSE after the match. Round count for that will be unknown but I think it will be around 20 extra rounds. It may be something we do as an after match side match.

Yep Brad, we all liked the course and appreciate all the hard work. That's a lot a steel to put out!

I'd also like to thank Christopher for taking the time and effort to get us extremely accurate distance to target readings (less than a foot) with that fancy GPS!

Hey Brad!! If anyone found a desert camo rear shooting bag with a spring clip and a chrome 45/110 case on it I left one up there while shooting the 1460 yd. range. Please hold on to it and I'll get it at the March match. Thanks.

Next match will be a 36 round COF and will be a night match. Be in Ashfork at 6pm. No night vision required, we individually light each target with glow sticks.

Well, it did not go off without a hitch. It seems the best laid plans crumble when put to the test. We had a lighting problem that was resolved with improvised devices (flashlights) and it turned out to be a great break. Targets were identifiable with the naked eye and several comments were made that it was easier to find the targets at night than during the day. We will be doing more night matches during the summer.

Congrats to Steve Montgomery for the win with 210 pts (240 were possible), Matt LaVine finished second with 180 pts and I finished 3rd with 125 pts. Here is the finishing order.

We run this format with 3 shots per target in a KYL system. If you hit it the first and second times but miss on the 3rd try, you loose all points for that target. You do not have to shoot the 3rd time if you connected with the 1st and second. Our next night match is on the 21st of April. Thanks to all that attended and endured the lighting fiasco.

Brad, we all appreciate your efforts. I could sense your frustration about the 3rd time you had to run down on the quad to relight the targets. The match was a lot of fun although getting to the house at 0330 was a little tough. Think I'll be bringing my tent to the next one.

Got home @ 3:45,,interseting Sunday but well worth it! Thanks again Brad. I wont be so greedy on my C shots next match though

I also did not get home until 330. I am staying up there after the next match and maybe we can talk Carl and Bob into allowing us to have a fun day on sunday after the night match. I will work on that if there is enough interest?

My body is still recuperating, ARGGG, I must be getting old.

Definitely spending the night there after the ELR event, with Carl's permission of course.

It was fun hanging out at the bench with you guys shootin the bull, the 50AE's and head shootin that rock squirrel.

Camping after the XLR match to attend the normal AZPRC monthly match is approved. I will be staying the night. Tents or trailers are ok.

The night shoot was a blast thanks brad. Definitely need to turn the illumination down on the old night force. But all in all it was awesom.

Next monthly match is this coming Sunday and the Extreme long range match is this coming Saturday. Two days of shooting. No cash purse on this one. Phoenix Custom Rifles is sponsoring the normal monthly match on sunday with a certificate. Thanks to Keith and Brad for helping us with the sponsorship.
