This is my first post so I want to say a couple things.
First, big thanks to those who have posted their experiences for all to learn from. It was, in part, the information here that led me to a recent purchase of the PR 5-25x56 with the Gen2xr reticle.

I won't repeat all the things already posted about the scope. However I would like to share my experience in dealing with Premier Reticles.

I bought the scope on demo for a discount. When I received the scope the O-Ring in the elevation turret was coming down and out. I considered sending the scope back to the distributor immediately, but decided to give PR a call first.
Monday 19th March, 2012
I talked to a guy there that morning who asked me to leave a message for a technician, and the technician would call back later that day. Sure enough, a technician called me that afternoon. He listened to my concerns and we decided that I would ship the scope to PR and he would not only fix the O-Ring but also look over the entire scope for me.
Tuesday March 20, 2012
Sent scope to PR via UPS (my nickel, $10ish)
Thursday March 22
Technician let me know he received it.
Sunday March 25
I received an email requesting a return address.
Tuesday March 27
Scope was delivered to my house via UPS (PR's nickel)

Last night I torture tested the crap out of the unit, and everything looks good. This weekend I'll do some tracking tests with it. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll post the results here.

However, the point is how in my book they've given me about the best customer service imaginable, and I think the community here should know about it.

Sincerely,
easygoose

Re: Premier Reticles Customer Service

I love my Premier Heritage Scope. I have never had to use their customer service, but was impressed with them when I visited with them at SHOT.

Re: Premier Reticles Customer Service

I am having the same experience with their customer service as well. I have yet to send my scope in but I have spent plenty of time on the phone with them while the technician tried to work me through my specific problem.

The fact that they call you back when they say they are going to is huge for me.

As for my specific issue. There are two small black specs in the upper left hand quadrant of the field of view. They aren't big but they are distracting. They don't disappear from your field of view until you are near 20x. Your eye is immediately drawn to them once you settle behind the rifle. May just be more of a problem for me because I know that they are there and it's gotten in my head. Either way its going back for a check up.

I will be sending the scope back to them in the next week or so. I will also let you all know how it turns out.

Nothing but good things to say about them so far. Thanks Paul!

Re: Premier Reticles Customer Service

I bought a 5-25x56 GenII MilDot from the original owner off this site. The deal was superb; I commend the person I bought it from--who telephoned purposely to inform me that there was a tiny speck at 25x... It was tiny.

Since I haven't the platform to mount the scope in the Near Alphamount I decided to email Premier. They said send it in and I made it a point to state that I wasn't the original owner. I cannot remember if they responded.

Premier--Paul Lange--went through the scope and got it back to me as if I was the original owner, their only customer, and, yes, did the thing most important, but too often neglected, they responded to all my inquires and promptly.

This is why I bought a Premier; everybody knows there's only a couple others out there with glass as good. I learned about their service on three websites in addition to this site. I'm adding my personal experience to their justly earned reputation.

Thank You Premier.

Alternative DIY trick:
Remove scope from rifle. Take a pile of newspapers. Take firm grip from ocular end of scope. Hit scope firmly couple of times horizontally on that pile.

Lol, substitute the newspapers with a phone book! Tried it with no luck.
