5 months and waiting for the form 1 stamp for my rimfire can... Running my 30cal SAS on it in the meantime. REALLY like the Buckmark. Put 250 subsonic rounds through it so far and not one FTF or FTE.

Added a pic (pre-mods) to show how ridiculous a rifle can is on this...

Re: New 22 Pistol

Suppressors are form 4....

Make sure you really clean that 30 cal can well after use on a rimfire. Carbon buildup is bad and when you fire 30cal thru it, you run the risk of damage.

Not if you roll your own.... Lathe is itching to get turning.

Definite can soak in the near future.

Added a picture up top with suppressor. This was before all the extra parts arrived...

Re: New 22 Pistol

generally it is pointless to use subsonic .22lr ammo in a pistol, as regular high velocity will be subsonic in that short barrel.

At least my experience with some of the bulk stuff (Federal) through my Sig Mosquito was I would get a sonic crack about 1/3rd of the time. I generally run SK Plus through all my rimfires anymore. YMMV...

Just seeing that brought a great big smile my face. I bet it's a hoot to shoot.

While the bullet from HV ammo may still stay sub-sonic from the short barrel of a pistol, in most instances it will be louder than sub-sonic ammunition.

I have heard several .22 pistol and suppressor combos including my P22 and Outback II. In almost every one the sub-sonic ammo was noticeably quieter.

Re: New 22 Pistol

My Ruger mk3 is quieter with subs than regular bulk SS ammo, let alone any high velocity stuff. It's still loud but there is a noticeable difference, even without a can. So I concur with ohio & lonewolf about that.

Ah! Thanks for that. I was wondering if maybe you had some special edition Picatinny Buckmark.
