Finally Got My LMT MWS

I Finally Got My LMT MWS. I ordered my Nightforce NXS 3.5-15X50 from Jay at Sport Optics, Great guy to deal with. Now I just have to wait until Brownell's ships me my Magpul PRS Stock Kit. I ordered the Endine PRS 308 PRS Stock Kit. Has any one else used this kit. If so how did it work out?

I basicaly built the same rifle, but with a Premier 3-15. I used the 308PRS stock, but I went with a Slashes Heavy Stainless steel buffer since I think the LMT is generously gassed and it made the recoil pulse more managable for follow up shots. What length barrel length did you get?

16" barrel.

Pics will be posted when the LMT is all together. Scope and mount arrives Tuesday. But PRS stock won't be here until the last week in April.

Congrats on the LMT. You are going to love it. I have the same setup as you but I went with the NF F1. Ive been thinking about changing out the stock as well. But the LMT stock works great for me length and Cheek weld are perfect.

I also have the 5.56 LMT CQB and the SOPMOD stock works fine for me. But the SOPMOD stock I tried on a friends MWS gave me problems, especially in the prone position. I guess I got spoiled with my 308 DPMS SASS that has the PRS stock and is perfect for me in any position. I've already replaced the charging handle with the MOD 3 Gunfighter. My Nightforce NXS 3.5-15X50 gets here tomorrow. I just waiting for Brownell's to ship me my 308 PRS Endine stock kit.
PS I would have love to go with the F1 but with the cost of the LMT and the divorce lawyer I thought better of it.

I installed a PRS on my MWS, but had to modify the rifle tube to retain the buffer retaining pin. Not much, but needs to be done if your rifle tube doesnt have the lower shelf on it.

All that being said, I have 2 MWS rifles, one in 308 and one in 260 and love them both. They feed and fire flawlessly. I put a Premier 3-15 on my 260 and it shoots lights out with 120 Amax's from Hornady.
