Has anyone ever thought of or tried building an AR upper with an Adams style piston conversion kit, with rail and mounting a DD RIS2 or free float rail with FSP cut out? will that even work? i always thought that would be an interesting idea.

If you want a piston upper, don't mess with the conversion kits. Buy a piston upper.
