Ruger 10/22 Takedown

Re: Ruger 10/22 Takedown

I took a dump today. It was lighter and fluffier than usual. I thought everyone should know without providing any pics or evidence but cool story brah!

I sometimes forget how big and bad you guys really are on these forums...

Rifle shoots pretty well,as well as any stock ruger 10/22... now im mounting a scope on it to see if it will hold the same POI once broken down quite a few times and reassembled..

Glad you posted a pic. I can't wait to pick mine up on Sunday. Actually I can since I really can't wait to try out my new Vortex Viper PST 6-24 on my R700 on Saturday. There's a video on YouTube of someone testing the takedown for POI after multiple takedowns, check it out.

Re: Ruger 10/22 Takedown

Well, I don't know what all the testy exchange was about. The pic is nothing short of blah.
Can't say a takedown 10-22 does it for me.
And I don't really understand where your Viper PST and R700 come into play in this thread.
Did they close down Rimfire Central or something?

I don't think it was too much testiness. I ordered a Takedown as well but can't pick it up until Sunday after the 10 day wait so I'm excited about trying out a new scope in the meantime. But thanks for adding to the testiness because I happen to appreciate the op posting/sharing the pic to somewhat validate the reason for even creating this thread plus giving me an additional look-see into what I can expect to pick up even though I may have been an ass in my original post. But it's all good, I'm a newb and sharing the love.

This place is interesting...I thought car forums had a lot of sputum but never seen one with a dedicated sticky about being mean to newbs. Mixing petrol with keyboards seems less explosive than mixing Varget with keyboards. LOL

Re: Ruger 10/22 Takedown

You are missing my point. If you are going to put all this love on a 10-22 then don't side track the thread with BS about your R700 and Viper scope. Do that where it is relevant.

Where do you live that requires a 10 day wait?

Re: Ruger 10/22 Takedown

Saw one of these at a shop today. The guy buying it said it was going to be a great little gun for backpacking. How's that? Are you supposed to tell a bear or a bad guy to wait while you remove the parts from the pack, assemble it, load it and fire?
It is nicer than the Henry take-down.

Kalifornistan where apparently we are all 'felons waiting to happen' with the laws we have to protect us from ourselves.

Re: Ruger 10/22 Takedown

I did pick mine up yesterday from the shop and took it to an indoor range.

You can see what it looks like with the Alangator Tri-Mag magazines attached.

First 10 shots at 7 yards just to see where my scope reticle was.
