Just put some FDE rails, handguard, and vertical grip from magpul on the Tac-Sol 22. I read where brownells alumahyde coyote matched the FDE so I painted the mag last night too. Almost a perfect match. Still waiting on FDE CTR mil-spec stock to arrive.

Rifle is on a Spikes Tactical lower. Fun rifle to shoot..as much fun as any of my other ones, and cheap!! Tried some different ammo and CCI standard velocity seems to be the best for the price range. I fired 10 at 50 yards with the aimpoint at the target in the pic. Accurate enough for me!

I had a SW mp15-22, but it always felt like a toy..this one feels like the real thing. Also have Daniel Defense 7.0 Omega free float tube on it.

Looks nice Alan! Mine is very similar. I really like the Tactical Solutions upper, it runs like a top. Its nearly silent when shooting subsonic ammo with my Sparrow on it. Hopefully I will get my tax stamp back soon so I can use the suppressor whenever I want, not just when my dealer has a demo shoot for new guys.

Here's a pic of mine...

Great job. Mine has hogue grip and acog love this thing its a blast to shoot. My buddy has a liberty surpresser which makes its even more fun to shoot.

I'm really liking the idea of turning my 522 into a dedicated blaster, and try a dedicated upper like these for a trainer for my 16" SPR/Recce. What kind of accuracy do you guys see out of these and with what ammo varities?

Also, I'm guessing to change the handguard like you did on yours wfjames, just swap the whole thing like on a centerfire AR?? Barrel nut and all??

Yep, its just like changing the handguard on any other AR upper. I took the M4 handguard off and replaced the barrel nut with the one supplied with the new handguard. The difference is that there is no need for a gas block, since it is blowback operated. The Tactical Solutions upper that I bought came with an A2 front sight/gas block installed, but the barrel has no gas port drilled in it. I just took the front sight off and discarded it when I swapped the handguard.

I can put up nice groups but overall. It allows me train with less expense ammo mine will feed anything my buddies likes cci so I think its luck of the draw.

Re: Tactical Solutions M4 22lr dedicated rifle

They are really fun rifles. Mine likes cci standard velocity the best. Fed bulk and others function fine, but the cci is way out in front in terms of accuracy so I'm just going to buy a case or two of it.

Mine will not cycle CCI SV, but runs SK Standard Plus like a champ.
