It looks interesting, but I like the original, it nicely slides in my hand or glove, so I can work the bolt fast, but maintain positive grip at the same time. But to each his own...
First I made a knob for the existing metric bolt handle.
My other attempt is that I made this conversion handle, it replaces the factory handle completely. It's appx the same length as the original and is threaded 5/16x24 so most any standard knob will screw on.

it is fine the way it is but you definitely improved on perfection.

I really like the top one with the grooves and checkering.
I think it is pretty cool that both of you guys are willing to try and create something new and a bit different. The personal touches add some character to an already great rifle.
