Sidearms & Scatterguns Office environment

Re: Office environment

LCP is easily carried in the front pocket of jeans and slacks, the Crimson Trace is a nice addition to it too imho.

The new S&W M&P CC Shield looks interesting too, but I haven't laid hands on one.

Re: Office environment

I am in similar environment where i attend meetings with several big ballers and drive in between clients.
I keep a glock 23 in a bailout bag, extra mags, pepper spray, badge, the whole nine yards.
I carry on person a S&W chiefs special model 37 airweight stoked with gold dots
no one can tell even when i wear polo shirt and slacks.
works for me.

+1 for the LCP

Mine is on me right now as I'm sitting at a computer in the office.

Re: Office environment

I am, by company policy, prevented from carrying a firearm on property.
Live most of my life "inside" the office.

As far as the office environ goes I have "alternate" weapons I have ID'd, fire extinguishers, coffee pot, innocuous piece of "sample" insulating fiberglass rod that has a place on my desk.

I carry either a Glock 27 or an LCR in .38 special, both charged with Gold Dots. LCR drops in a front pocket of loose fitting jeans and disappears. Really prefer the 27 tho as it is more comfortable carried in a IWB Galco, same goes for the LCR, as far as IWB.

As Clint Smith says and demos in one of his self defense vids "Spray 'em with the white stuff, hit 'em with the red thing" (fire extinguisher)

Re: Office environment

Fire extinguisher is good idea...I had a friend who lived on his sailboat. He kept a small dry powder type filled with powdered Habanero pepper to use in case of intruders. Clean up would be a bitch, I imagine.
