Anyone know what points Seekens uses for measuring their scope rings? I looked through their site and can't come up with info. On the calculator, I don't think it includes a couple of variables, the use of a 20MOA base or some tapers. I'm using a heavy varmint #17 taper, the 1st 5" of the barrel has no taper what so ever.

Now before everyone starts giving me a hard time on my barrel choice, there was some reasoning behind picking such a heavy barrel. One I needed weight to reduce felt recoil because of my neck surgeries. Second, I can have the chamber recut and not worry about any chamber pressure troubles, since its the same outer diameter for so long. If I'm wrong in my thinking please let me know why?

top of rail to ring center. there is a chart on their web site for all of their rings. go to rings and mounts.
