I'm starting an AR build so i oreded up a some foster gauges a field, go and no-go gauge. For some reason they shipped them seperatlly. I recieved my no-go gauge today so nauturally I had to play with it. I put the gauge in my son's DPMS AP4 and it didn't go into battery. So I thought all was well. Next I threw it into my LWRC SPR and it went into battery. Should I be concerned. It's fired fine all the times that I've shot it, but what I'm concerned with is will that degrade my accuracy. Please help a retard and explain this to me.

I take it your sons DPMS is a .223 chamber correct? And I know your LWRC is 5.56.... Does your gauge specify that it covers those two chambers (I would assume not)...

Re: LWRC SPR No-Go Gauge Bolt Close

Chambers cut to .223 Remington specifications have a shorter leade (throat) area as well as slightly shorter headspace dimensions compared to 5.56 mm "military" chamber specs.
