I am searching for cleaning gear on midway also since a lucas bore guide cant be had. any advice?

Re: A few questions about options for my rifle

Just buy a plastic bore guide from sin Clair international. Get Dewey cleaning rods, jags, and brushes. Get some Butches bore shine. That will take care of your cleaning needs.

That scope should work fine. If you want more information on wether or not you are doing the right thing with your purchases you could give everyone a brief summary of what you want to do with the rifle.

My plans are to start at 100 yards and work my way out to 600 and eventually 1000 yards and take some long range classes. I reload so I plan on reloading some 175 grain rounds or heavier.

Re: A few questions about options for my rifle

I have a possum hollow 308 bore guide that I will no longer use. If you want it, pm your address, and I will ship it to ya.
