Mags... How many mags do you have for your rifle?
I have 4 (1 5 rounder, 3 10 rounders) for my GAP... what do you think.... is that enough?

competitions, out at the range, when sh*t hits the fan, etc... who knows? I am leaning towards doing some competitions in the near future especially when I get a little more comfortable shooting it, and building more knowledge and experience.
Hopefully my question and answer isn't that bad...
I got 16 mags for my Krinkov. 7 mags for my M1A Super Match... I have a semi-auto trigger finger, and having this bolt rifle is a new discipline for me. Not trying to over do it in any way...

Great Question; I have wondered this often..I have 1x 5 round and 3x 10 rounders. For shooting in what little matches i do shot; i have felt that I have had just enough rounds on me without needing to lug more gear. When at the range I usually only shot with on mag and reload. I would wouldn't mind another 10 round but all in due time..

Still working on my first bolt gun so primarily have a safe full of semi's. With my precision builds that have custom barrels, I don't put more than 5 rounds down range at a time and have mags in 5 and 10 round capacities. Normally don't carry more than 4 at a time with me but have plenty to fill if the situation needs be. For the other semi's, there is 20 30rd mags.

only have 2 each for the bolt guns, some are interchangeable though but some are not, such as my 280AI.

I was actually thinking of asking this question earlier today because I am also interested in seeing how many mags people feel that they need.
Right now I only got 1 10 round mag for 6.5 Creedmooor and 2 10 round mags for the .223.
I feel like I should probably get 1 more 10 round mag and a 5 round mag for the 6.5 or 2 more 10 rounders and maybe another 10 rounder for the .223.

So far, I do a lot of out door shooting (National Forest and National Grasslands) with my friends, but I'm the only long range shooter in the crowd. On average so far, I can go 60+ rounds down range with my bolt rifle...

having a handful of full mags gives me a warm fuzzy feeling, lol!

I have about 25 30rd mags for my semi-carbine, but use only 10, the rest is reserve.
For my TRG I have 3 10rd mags, I use 2 (enough for competitions) and the third is a reserve.

i have 5 -30 mags for the ar
5 for the glock
3 for the beretta fs
some speedloaders for the revolver
but only one each for the boltactions
id like to have more but i mostly let them cool anyway after a few shots at the range
gotta prioritize the funds

I've got 4 mags for each pistol I have, 4 mags for my AR-15 and 2 mags for the bolt action I don't have yet.

In my mind, I feel comfortable with how many guns I have... now for ammo... I can never have to much of that.
I just need to match that ratio between ammo and mags.
I would love to have this:
200 10 rounder mags for 2000 rounds for my GAP
134 30 rounder mags for 4000 rounds for my Krinkov
150 20 rounder mags for 3000 rounds for my M1A

So Big Money I do not have a AIAX. I would like one but they do not make one in left hand.
I do have a rem700lh sitting in a AICS stock and a 300 WM that uses AIAW mags.
As far as the glass goes I am using NF. The best $950.00 scope a person can pay almost $2,000.00 for.

I know how mfg works so I know why they are as high as they are. Even though the dies have been paid off for years and it is honestly costing less than a few bucks to make each mag. They do have to save up for die rework. Even though they will not save up for die rework. So yes I am bitching about mag price.
With all that being said I will basically quote Kelly Bachand. I will take and use anything you give me. In all seriousness if you have anything you want to give me a really good price on I am interested. Odd bullets, parts, firearms and the such.
