Im heading to Atlanta on Friday.... Was wanting to stop at a shop that carries a good bit of AR Lowers and Parts...

Looking to pickup some stripped lowers and maybe some complete uppers.

Anyone know of a good shop up there that carries a good bit of everything?

Thanks
Matt (LEO SOUTH GA.)

Re: ATLANTA Shops

Come to the shop I work at. It's Mainstreet Firearms. Here is the address. We are about 25 min east of ATL and there is also another gunshop that is well known in GA called Bulls-Eye in Lawernceville.

David's Gunroom
5074 Buford Hwy
Norcross, GA
770 447-6021

David and Mary are good people and they usually have quite a bit of what you are looking for. It is a real gun shop.

Re: ATLANTA Shops

From Buckhead take GA400 north to Dawsonville. After you pass the Outlet Mall the next red light is Hwy 53. Turn left and then turn left into the Ingles shopping center. 400 Jewelry and Loan is right next to Dollar General and is THE best place for AR parts, accessories, uppers, and lowers in the Atlanta area. It will kill some of your time driving but they will most likely have more than the others combined.

Don't go to Adventure Outdoors unless you want to talk to retards.

Agreed they do have a lot of AR stuff but that is a helluva long way from Buckhead.

+1 and they have fees attached to almost every thing you do when trying to purchase a gun.

Lol it does seem that a low iq is a prerequisite to fill a position there. Basically most of the people there a like security guards...a warm body that looks the part. I avoid 90% of the employees there and only deal with 4 of them when I go there. 3 of those are owners/management.

Re: ATLANTA Shops

Bulls eye can be a neat place but not so friendly. A bit of a shit don't stink attitude there...cocky turds. I really need to head over the 400 jewelry and pawn. I hear that place is awesome.

Re: ATLANTA Shops

It may be too late for you now but 400 J&P really is the best in the area for AR stuff. Their prices actually rival the online places as well. They are a bit of a haul from Atlanta though - especially on a Friday afternoon.

Cherokee Gun and Pawn is also a great place. It's up 575 in Canton. The do not have all the knick knacks like 400 but they have a lot of guns/ammo and everything is well priced too. Problem with them is, they clean out half the store if they are going to a gun show over the weekend. Mon - Thur is the best time to hit them.

Adv Outdoors has always been craptacular, at best.

Anyway, enjoy your trip.

Re: ATLANTA Shops

I've always thought Bullseye had pretty decent prices if you do your research before hand. I will admit that's it's sometimes hard to get someone to help you in there. They're close to my house and I've bought plenty of guns there though.

Tucker Gun typically has a TON of AR stuff, I think it's mostly RRA stuff.

Re: ATLANTA Shops

Bullseye is a store full of assholes!
One place I forgot to mention is Autrey's Armory in Fayetteville.
Great bunch of guys and a really neat shop.

Re: ATLANTA Shops

there is a shop in oakwood that does mostly high end AR's/bolt guns. cant remember the name though. Foxhole in gainesville has a good selection too.

+1 Adventure Outdoors is great if you want to pay way too much money for stuff and deal with a bunch of mouth breathers.
