Hi, I looked around figuring that this would be an easy find. Guess not.
im interested in an upper in 7.62x39. i have 2 reasons.
1) i have plenty of ammo for it sitting around and
2) ive thought about running it with heavy smk's, amax's or bergers subsonically. that way, i can kill 2 birds with one stone in that i dont need a .300 blackout to do the subsonic stuff.
Now heres the question: what is the bore diameter on these? .308? .310? .311?
and, if it is .308, can i safely fire surplus 7.62x39 in it without excessive pressure? and if it is .310 or .311 can i shoot heavy .308s out of it with any expectation of minute of deer accuracy? or will the slower twist prevent that anyway?
thank you for your time
jake
