Not sure exactly where to post but i bought some of this (non-foaming) and used it yesterday for the first time and im not sure i did it correctly because i got minimal results. I used it on my ar (shot approximately 10 times). It is my patrol rifle and been in the trunk for about 6 months with no cleaning and i like to clean it twice a year besides when i use it for recreational use. I also used it on my already clean ak and my glock sidearm (shot 6 times) as well as my keltech (shot six times). Here is the process i used. On the ar i used a patch and jag. Soaked the patch and let sit for an hour then ran a dry tight fitting patch through and nothing. Pretty much the same for the rest of the weapons. I think the patches may have been too tight and didnt leave enough in the bore to do anything?? I atually went behind the glock with hoppes nine and it came out pretty dirty. Alot of powder and carbon. So my question is how do you apply it and your process??

Re: patch out wipe out question

First off, use caps when appropriate. They will make your post much easier to read and you'll likely get more responses.

Secondly, letting that stuff sit for an hour just lets it dry out and evaporate. Give it 10 to 15 minutes, then patch dry.

Re: patch out wipe out question

Well I fixed it so... maybe now it will be easier to read and get more responses.

Para, Douche bag says what? What's your issue? Do you enjoy reading poorly constructed posts? Wouldn't it be a little easier if you didn't have to strain to understand what the OP was asking?

And....I answered his question...Where was your constructive critisism? Hmmmm, there wasn't any. Weird.

And, I'd be willing to bet I'm in the top 20% of rounds fired last year on this entire site. As a matter of fact, my main comp gun is being rebarreled as I type this. Must be becuase I sit in front of my computer all day and never shoot!

Get a life!

kids settle down before daddy takes of his belt

imo you let it sit too long as someone else already stated

"yea 69 more to sell"

Re: patch out wipe out question

Thanks guys. Ill let it sit about twenty minutes next time and not use a jag to apply. Ill use a loose patch coated well and see how it goes

Re: patch out wipe out question

I'm so pissed becuase you misspelled "because." Pretty soon I'll have my post count to a 1000 and be able to sell too but for even more money that the 100 post duders and their feeble full blown retail pricing.

Re: patch out wipe out question

I like Wipe Out Patch Out, I wet a patch with it and excellerater and scrub back and forth until it foams up, let sit for 20 minutes and repeat and patch it clean.
